Summary

Description Ottoman Empire zirh gomlak, also ( zirah baktar/bagtar, jawshan, yushman), a mail and plate shirt and mail and plate dizcek (cuisse or knee and thigh armor). This type of mail shirt with attached plates was used by several countries under different names, they seem to have appeared circa 1400 AD, possibly in Iran and very quickly spread to Russia, the Ottoman Empire, India and many Middle-eastern countries.
