Summary

Description
English: Prisoner-of-war camp for Red Army POW's in Tuchola, Poland, during the Polish–Soviet War of 1919-21. The facility was built by the Austrians in World War One, with running water, canteen, and the infirmary. However, the Polish army took over the camp in dilapidated state only in 1920. During an epidemic of cholera, 2,000 prisoners died. The Soviet propaganda under Josef Stalin raised the death toll to 22,000 out of thin air.[1]
