The diagram is mislabeled. '9. Slide Lock Ring' On the diagram, number 9 actually points to the screw attachment between the slide and bell sections. The slide lock ring is located below the mouthpiece where the movable portion of the slide begins.

If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.
