Summary

Description
English: Modern re-enactor wearing replica equipment of a Roman military tribune of the imperial era. Note plumed, engraved helmet, bronze muscled cuirass, red mantle, red sash tied over cuirass indicating knightly rank, pteruges. The imperial tribune's equipment was virtually unchanged since Republican times (see above).
