Summary
DescriptionTrent Bridge area of Nottingham, UK - aerial 2014.jpg |
English: Aerial view of area around Trent Bridge, in the English city of Nottingham, with (from left to right) the Meadow Lane and City Ground football grounds, and Trent Bridge cricket ground. The River Trent curves across the image, whilst the city centre is about a mile off the left edge. Ironically, Meadow Lane (the home of Notts County) is in the City of Nottingham (a unitary city not in the administrative county of Nottinghamshire), whilst City Ground (the home of Nottingham Forest) and the cricket ground are both across the river in the district of Rushcliffe (which is in the county but not in the city). |
