Summary

Description
English: Elcom Bauer 1100 watt AM broadcasting transmitter model 701B. It was a plate modulated vacuum tube transmitter with output power of 250 - 1100 watts, on frequencies between 540 - 1600 kHz. Output impedance 50Ω unbalanced. Vacuum tubes: 4 Eimac 4-400C power tetrodes. The four analog meters along the top of the front panel show (L to R): modulator tube plate current, final plate voltage, final plate/screen current, output power. Used between 1955 and 2001. Information from Elcom Bauer model 701B manual, SteamPoweredRadio website. Mexican Radio Institute offices, Coyoacán, Mexico.
