Description
Nederlands: De Bijstandseenheid van de Koninklijke Marechaussee heeft begin februari intensief getraind om haar skills & drills op peil te houden. In de omgeving van Schaarsbergen oefenden de BE’ers onder meer algemene verwijderingsvaardigheden en het optreden in formatie. De training- en certificeringsoefening op de Arnhemse Heide en het Brandweer Trainingscentrum Kleefse Waard was gericht op de basisbeginselen van de ME-taak. De BE van de Landelijke Bijstandsorganisatie (LBO) kan zowel nationaal als internationaal worden ingezet voor diverse taken. Denk aan inzet op luchthavens en militaire terreinen, waar de Koninklijke Marechaussee verantwoordelijk is voor de openbare orde en veiligheid. Daarnaast kan de eenheid bijstand leveren aan de Nationale Politie, en kan ze ingezet worden voor bewaken en beveiligen en het bijstaan van speciale eenheden en voor openbare ordehandhaving in missiegebieden.
