English: The plate represents the traditional food of the Kandi belt of Dogra community in the foothills of shivaliks in Jammu and Kashmir. It includes almost all nutrients making it complete diet. It includes rice, pulses, rotis, protein balls(made of pulses), vegetables, ambal(northern sambar) , curd and..... , kheer and gulkand (from roses) as sweet dish.
