Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Tradisi Pacu Itiak di Payakumbuh sudah ada sejak tahun 1028. Saat itu para petani di Aur Kuning, Payakumbuh, Kanagarian dan Sicincin menghalau itik yang memakan tanaman padinya. Itik-itik yang dihalau akan terbang ke dataran sawah yang lebih rendah di bawahnya. Itik-itik terbang ini menjadi hiburan tersendiri bagi para petani, lalu diadakan lomba itik terbang.
