Summary

An ukiyo-e woodblock print by Torii Kiyohiro depicting Kabuki actors Ichikawa Danjūrō IV and Nakamura Tomijūrō I. The artist's name appears in the lower-right hand corner, above the seals. The actors' names run along the sides of the image, near the actors' heads; each name is followed by a haimyō, or poetry penname. Danjūrō is on the left; Tomijūrō on the right.
