Inscription on back reads "[to] John & Helen / Tommy & I / Before". A later, different hand writes "UNCLE HENRY WITH FOOT ON CAR, TOMMY BEHIND WHEEL. UNCLE LOUIS CHEVROLET IN BLACK HAT, SUIT, MOUSTACHE & DARK TIE." I am the great-grandson of Fanny Chevrolet, Louis's sister.
