Description
English: Tomb of the Italian medic and explorer Giuseppe Ferlini at the Certosa di Bologna. The inscription says:
"Giuseppe Ferlini, medic, soldier, geographer, archaeologist, between 1815 and 1836 he travelled across Greece, Egypt and Nubia where he brought to his homeland the treasure of the greatest pyramid of Meroe, first explored by him. Born in Bologna, April 23, 1797 - died here in December 30, 1870."
