Français : Timbre-poste commémoratif émis en 1972 évoquant un épisode des Aventures de Tom Sawyer (1876) : la peinture au lait de chaux de la palissade qui jouxte la maison de Tom. Le graveur a représenté la palissade qui jouxte la maison d'enfance de Mark Twain à Hannibal, maison dont on aperçoit un angle en arrière plan.
