Summary

Description
English: Though it looks strong enough from afar much of its protective walls have been taken down, so the shots from the central space between the former walls show something of a meadow with some ruins at the edges. I have been informed "Tokmar kalesi is Norberd ("New Castle" in Armenian) or Castellum Novum of Armenian medieval sources. It was one of the important fortresses of Armenian kingdom of Cilicia. Sebastos Heri (Henry) was the baron of Norberd in 1198. "
