English: The 100th birth anniversary of Tikhon Khrennikov (1913—2007), a Soviet and Russian composer.
The illustrated postal stationery envelope with commemorative stamp, Russia, 10 Juny 2013. PTC Marka Catalogue No 242. Envelope paper VBM (ВБМ) with watermarks “ПОЧТА РОССИИ”. Offset printing. Size of the envelope: 110×220 mm. Print run: 1,000,000.
The stamp (non-denominated, “Letter A”, for domestic letters, weight 20 g or less): the portrait of Tikhon Khrennikov (after the photo by Vasily Malyshev (1900—1986)); the first bars of The Lullaby for Svetalana, a song for the film Hussar Ballad.
The illustration: Tikhon Khrennikov at work (1958, after the photo by Galina Kmit (born 1931)).
The cancellation with the universal first day postmark, Moscow, 10 June 2013.
