Summary

Description Thomas Hunter Hall of the City University of New York's Hunter College, at 930 Lexington Avenue on the full block between East 68th and 69th Street in the Lenox Hill neighborhood of the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1912-14 and was designed by C.B.J. Snyder in the English Gothic style. It was originally a school building on the grounds of New York Normal College (formerly the Normal School for Women), and became Hunter College High School after Normal College became Hunter College in 1914. Now it is Thomas Hunter Hall of the College, which is part of the CUNY system. It is located within the Upper East Side Historic District.
