East Main St./NC 28 can be seen at the right side of the photo. It passes in front of the mound’s ramp, which faces SE. The mound was more topographically prominent prior to the placement of the fill upon which the structure seen at the far left of the photo sits. Photo shot with a Pentax K-3 II camera using a Sigma 10mm f/2.8 EX DC Fisheye lens. |
