A large delegation, representing the Canadian cities ofHamilton, London, Montreal, Peterboro and Ottawa, istrying to have steel rails for electric railways put on thefree lists at Canadian ports. When the tariff wasarranged there were no such things as electric railwaysand no provision was made for them.
