Summary

Description
English: This wide-field view shows the sky around the dwarf galaxy IC 1613 in the constellation of Cetus (The Sea Monster). This picture was created from images forming part of the Digitized Sky Survey 2. The galaxy appears at the centre of the picture as an irregularly shaped clump of faint stars.
