Summary

Description A horse tram crossing the Halfpenny Bridge at Stonehouse, Devon. Two horses hauled the tram from the Theatre terminus at Plymouth to the bridge where two more were added to help over this slightly graded section, but another horse or two would be added for the steeper section up Devonport Hill. The route was converted to electric power in 1901.
