Summary

Description

Several hundred Qataris celebrated Qatar National Day with a 52km camel ride to commemorate traditional Qatar messengers. We saw many of them leaving Al Rayyan at the start of their journey.

Plans for the ride were discussed in the English-language Qatar newspaper: thepeninsulaqatar.com/Display_news.asp?section=local_news...
