English: The Tunbridge Wells train enters the Somerhill Tunnel The Somerhill tunnel is the first of several tunnels between Tonbridge & Hastings. The tunnel was not well built originally & had to be relined, consequently it is a narrow tunnel. When the line was electrified in the 1980s the tunnel had to become one way.
