Title
English: The Study at 219 North Delaware Street
Description
English:

The study. Dozens of shelves are filled with books and records. Two chairs in this photograph. A radio console is prominent.

President and Mrs. Truman spent much time in this room, surrounded by the books they loved. He loved history and biography, she loved mysteries and "whodoneits." (He did too!) It's a very eclectic collection of books, from Civil War histories to Charles Dickens, to books on dentistry and prosthetics!
