Description	In May 1997, Air Canada, United Airlines, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Thai Airways International and Lufthansa formed the Star Alliance, and to celebrate, gathered five planes for a commemorative photo, one from each airline. Pictured here are two Airbus A340s, one from Air Canada and one from Lufthansa; one Boeing 777 from United Airlines; One Boeing 767 from SAS Scandinavian Airlines; and one Boeing 747 from Thai Airways.
