English: The arms are painted in University colours of White, Black and 'Cornish Gold'. The arms depict a Falmouth Packet Ship demonstrating Falmouth's connection to the rest of the world. Atop the coat of arms is a crest which depicts a Cornish Chough holding a paintbrush, pen and pencil signifying that Falmouth University is truly a specialist institution of the arts. Just below this is a reference to Pendennis Castle. |
