After Ann and Eve are taken into custody and given a physical examination, this card is shown indicating that Eve has a positive Wassermann test (misspelled in the film). The film does not explain that this test result for antibodies indicates that Eve probably has syphilis. The card is later shown in the film with a "discharged" stamp. |
