Description |
English: Watercolor of landscape with mountains in distance, water in mid-ground, and rocky shore with several goats in foreground Henry Longfellow purchased this watercolor at an exhibition of British art at the Boston Athenaeum in April 1858. Both Henry and Fanny Longfellow were "delighted with the water colors" at the exhibition. The painting hangs on the second floor front hall of the Longfellow House.
