Fair is use is claimed for this photograph in the article The Quarrymen: The image is of a lower resolution than the original photograph (copies made from it will be of inferior quality). The photo is being used for informational purposes only, and its use is not believed to detract from the original in any way. John Lennon and The Quarrymen are the subjects of the photo. No free alternative is known to be available, and Lennon is deceased. Source is a scan of the photo in Bob Spitz's book,
