Summary

Description The memorial is in the Parish Church of Mells, Somerset. Raymond Asquith was the eldest son of the Liberal Prime Minister of Great Britain from 1908-1916. He was shot on 15 September 1916, during the Battle of Flers-Courcelette. He died while being carried back to British lines.
