Summary
[edit]Description | In the 1940s, the IPT designed and built at least 20 different prototypes of gliders and airplanes, which served as support to the organization in São Paulo of the Paulista Aeronautical Company (CAP). CAP produced in industrial scale, from 42 on, the Planalto glider and the single-engine Paulistinha airplane, developed by the Institute. During the Second World War, CAP produced training airplanes for the airclubs of that time. The IPT participated in the pilots' instruction, including with the gliders manufactured in its workshops. |
