You've always known what an icon it was, right? What a fine example of early Victorian engineering, and what a showcase for the ornateness of neo-Gothic architecture.
But what you didn't realise was how absolutely freaking GORGEOUS the silly thing was going to look after they spent several years and a few million taxpayer pounds restoring it.
And, surprisingly enough, I don't begrudge a single penny of it.
