Description
English: American newspaper advertisement (text only) for the German film Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam (The Golem: How He Came into the World) (1920), released in the United States under the title The Golem, on page 11 of the October 5, 1921 Duluth Herald. The upper portion of the ad is in Yiddish and the lower portion in English, and both portions note the showing of the film at the Lyceum Theatre in Duluth, Minnesota. There is a short review of the 1920 film along with a film still on page 13 of the newspaper. This ad is in the public domain as it does not include any images of the film, which is still (as of this date) under copyright in Germany.
