Watercolour by Major Alfred Crowdy Lovett (1862-1919), 1910.

Five figures representing 94th Russell's Infantry, 95th Russell's Infantry, 96th Berar Infantry, 97th Deccan Infantry and the 98th Infantry. These regiments were formerly part of the semi-independent princely state of Hyderabad's forces. In 1903 they joined the reorganised British Indian Army.

This is the original artwork for an illustration in Major G F MacMunn's 'Armies of India', published in 1911. NAM Accession Number
