DescriptionThe Duke of Northumberland's River - geograph.org.uk - 21939.jpg
English: The Duke of Northumberland's River. The river and a path alongside it run through the sewage works and is a convenient (if smelly) shortcut between Twickenham and Isleworth for cyclists and pedestrians. It is an artificial watercourse owned and maintained by the Environment Agency. This stretch of the Duke's River is fed from the River Crane at Mereway Road, Twickenham and discharges into the Thames at Mill Plat, Isleworth.
