| Description |
English: The An Garda Síochána Memorial Garden (or Garda Memorial Garden), part of the Dubhlinn Gardens in Dublin, Ireland. An Garda Síochána Memorial Garden honours the members of An Garda Síochána who were killed in the service of the State. The names of the members of An Garda Síochána who were killed are inscribed in stone within the garden. Additionally to this Roll of Honour, a glass sculpture commemorates the sacrifice of the families left behind and a stone sculpture (shown in this picture) is a tribute to all deceased members of An Garda Síochána, the Royal Irish Constabulary and the Dublin Metropolitan Police. The Memorial Garden was officially opened on 15 May 2010.
Deutsch: Der An Garda Síochána Memorial Garden (oder kurz Garda Memorial Garden) ist Teil der Parkanlage The Dubhlinn Gardens in Dublin, Irland. Der Erinnerungsgarten würdigt diejenigen Beamten der irischen Polizei, der An Garda Síochána, die im Dienst getötet worden sind. Ihre Namen sind in Steinmonumente, der Roll of Honour eingemeißelt. Außerdem gibt es in dem Garten zwei zusätzliche Erinnerungsskulpturen für die hinterbliebenen Familien der Getöteten sowie - hier zu sehen - generell für alle verstorbenen Polizisten von An Garda Síochána, Royal Irish Constabulary und Dublin Metropolitan Police.
