NFC rationale
[edit]- though the picture is subject to copyright I (JohnTomlinson) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because the use of a single cover "to illustrate an article discussing the book in question" is allowed.
- The image has been scanned by myself from a facsimile cover held in my possession and has then been reduced in size and cropped to prevent further facsimiles being made.
- The artist's name is Kenneth Farnhill. This scan is purely for linking to the Wikipedia article on the novel "The Burden" by Agatha Christie (Mary Westmacott)
- no other use should be made of it.
- The image is owned by William Heinmann publishers but use of a book cover is allowed under non-free content policy.
