English: The Buck Inn & The Old Grammar School The Buck Inn now offers Bed & Breakfast accommodation and was a very popular place about 37 years ago with "Alvertonians" (grammar school pupils). As all Alvertonians know, from the annual Founders' Day Service, the grammar school was founded in 1322. It occupied the building to the right of the inn from its erection in 1776 to 1906.
