Elizabeth "Betty" Brown, 56, was last seen alive on Friday 28 May last year on the No 3 bus in Nicholson Street, Edinburgh and thus was not killed by the winter. • 2 blokes deied after they crashed thier car on the en:M62 motorway in E. Yorkshire according acording to the UK’s ‘Daily Express’ newspaper’s December 5th edition (pages 1 and 5).

Mhairi Convy, 18, from en:Lennoxtown, and Laura Stewart, 20, from en:Cumbernauld, died in en:Glasgow Royal Infirmary after the after being hit by the runaway 4-by-4 vehicle that mounted a busy pavement in en:Glasgow city centre, behind the en:Buchanan Galleries shopping centre and next to the city's main bus station on the morning of the 17th. The driver either fell asleep or passed out due to ill health brought on by the both the weather and natural causes. The women were both students at en:Glasgow College of Commerce, en:Strathclyde Police said later that day [38].

• On Dec’ 18 a man in his early 30s, suffered life-threatening injuries when his Mini was in a crash with a highways vehicle, died after an ambulance being driven by a police officer left a country road in poor weather conditions and careered into a bush on en:Standard Hill, in en:Ninfield, police said.
