Description
English: The Bala Sluice Gates These gates, part of the Dee Valley flood protection scheme, were built immediately below the confluence of the Dee and Tryweryn rivers in the late 1950s. They allow for flood waters from the Tryweryn to be diverted into Llyn Tegid through the lake's outflow.
