Description
English: Remount Depot, Fort Reno, Oklahoma, 1908. Capt. Letcher H. Hardeman can be seen in the center, astride one of the horses at the remount depot he oversaw at Ft. Reno. This depot was the first in a series of remount depots established to supply the Army with a sufficient supply of horses.
