Summary

Description

May 8th: In the harbour of Woodhaven, Scotland. An advanced party of 17 officers of the Allied Military Commission, sent by General Sir Andrew Thorne, led by Brigadier Richard Hilton, going by motor boat to the Sunderland and Catalina seaplanes that will take them to the Fornebu seaplane harbour near Oslo. They are on a mission to hand over the surrender terms to the Germans. Brigadier Hilton sits at the back of the boat.

Et forparti på 17 offiserer av den allierte militærkommisjon, sendt av General Sir Andrew Thorne, ledet av Brigadier Richard Hilton, blir ført i motorbåt til en Sunderland og en Catalina, sjøflyene som skal føre dem til sjøflyhavnen ved Fornebu utenfor Oslo.
