English: View of the South Slope of the Acropolis of Athens from the Hill of the Muses (Philopappos Hill). The structure on the left side of the slope is the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. It dates to the 2nd century A.D. and has a seating capacity of 5,000. The barren space on the right side of the sope is the remains of the Theatre of Dionysus. The theatre dates to the 4th cent. B.C. and had a seating capacity of 17,000.
