Summary

Description
English: Cannon exhibited at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum. Site notice: "The cannon in this display was part of the arsenal of over 300 Chinese and 200 foreign cannons kept in the forts guarding the narrows at Humen (translated as Boca Tigris, Tiger's Mouth or The Bogue by foreigners). The cannon, which was captured in the opening battle of the First Opium War, would have been mounted on a solid wooden or stone mount."
