Summary

Description

Ball-and-stick model of a tetrahedral transition metal chloride complex. The model is based on the tetrachloroferrate(II) ion, [FeCl4]2−, as found in the crystal structure of bis(1-n-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium) tetrachloroferrate(II), (Bmim)2[FeCl4]. The structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and reported in Bull. Chem. Soc. Jpn. (2007) 2365-2374 (CSD entry KISMIJ).
