Summary

Description
English: Today in #WomensHistoryMonth I want to recognize Birmingham's own Vonetta Flowers - the first black woman ever to win a gold medal at the Winter Olympics. She was the first in her family to go to college, and she went to the University of Alabama with a Track and Field scholarship. Thank you Vonetta for inspiring so many young women in our state to follow their dreams!!
