Description

An example of a curve's tendency. In the corner to the right the curve's tendency is determined according to the right angle highlighted in yellow. The tendency is then determined as -1, because this is the value of the parameter from the formulation of the discrete Green's theorem, associated with that corner. In the corner to the right, where the curve's orientation was flipped, there are now three such right angles on the left hand-side of the curve, and thus the tendency is determined to be -1+1+1=+1.
