Summary
San Paciencia (Local name for the "Pensive Christ" — seated Jesus mocked in the pretorium, similar to the El Dios de la Peña in several other Oaxaca churches.) Seated, cheek on hand, in white cotton trousers, dun cape, red rag on head, blood on face as if dripping from forehead. Wood, gesso, paint; fabric clothing; painted eyes, sculpted hair; about 2' (60 cm.).
