Description
English: This photo was taken the fourth eruption from the Teishi Knoll at just 18:41:30 (JST). The fourth phreatomagmatic eruption occurred on the Teishi Knoll off the coast of Ito, located in Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan, on 13 July 1989 at 18:41:25 (JST). The duration time of the eruption was about 25 seconds, the maximum height and width were estimated 113m and 231m respectively. The crew on the surveying vessel Takuyo discovered the eruption.
