  • A copyright renewal search was done in artwork for the year 1989 and beyond. There were no renewals for the Teenform Foundations Inc. Corporation, nor for the Wacoal America Inc. Corporation, which is the last listed owner of the Teenform brand.

The Good Housekeeping magazine copyright renewal status would have no bearing on whether or not this ad was now in the public domain because magazines are considered to be collective works; any ads in them must have their own copyright registration to be considered protected.

There's no evidence the Teenform Foundations Inc. Corporation renewed the copyright on the ad.
