Summary

Description
English: tanks operated during WW2, same scale. Vehicles are lined up according to the country of design (which in most, but not all cases equals the country which operated the tank) and the year that key design was completed (usually shortly before the vehicle entered production). The column "OTHER" groups vehicles designed in Czechoslovakia, Italy, Poland, Sweden and the United States. Due to space limitations, years are approximate, e.g. the British tanks A13 and Matilda II are placed in 1939, while Matilda II's design was completed slightly earlier, in late 1938. Tanks listed before 1933 might have been designed any time earlier. The graphics does not include upgrades or variants, e.g. the Soviet T34 is pictured only once, as T34/76; its upgraded version with a new turret and distinctively different silhouette, T34/85, is not pictured
